Open matches: the hardest part of playing abroad is finding three other people
Padel is big in Paraguay and courts are easy to find. What is not easy, if you have just landed, is finding three players who will take you into their game — and who play at roughly your standard.
Padel Paraguay is built for exactly that. Players post open matches with a date, a time and a club. You take one of the free spots. Everyone can see everyone else's level beforehand, so the game is worth playing for all four.

The whole site is available in English — use the flag in the top bar to switch. The court booking itself is arranged by whoever organises the match, and you split the cost between the four of you at the club.

Do I need a partner to join?
No. You sign up on your own and take one of the four spots. Teams are decided among the four players before the match starts.
Do I need to speak Spanish?
The site is fully available in English. Most players in Asunción speak Spanish, but padel is not a talkative sport and the match chat works fine with short messages.
How much does it cost?
The site is free. You split the court fee with the other three players, paid directly at the club.
Do I need to bring a racket?
Most clubs in Paraguay rent rackets and sell balls, so you can turn up with sports clothes. It is worth asking in the match chat beforehand.
How far in advance should I look?
Matches are usually posted a few days ahead. If nothing fits your dates, create your own match for the day you want and wait for players to join.
Is my level comparable to Playtomic or similar apps?
Not directly. Here the level follows the categories used in Paraguayan tournaments, from 7ma for beginners to 1ra for the best players, so a lower number means a better player, unlike most rating apps.
